Chris Reeder

Chris is a trial lawyer, General Counsel, and dealmaker with a broad background in litigation, business strategy, and complex dispute resolution.

Before beginning his legal career, Chris served in the United States Navy from 1989 to 1994 as an Operations Specialist Second Class (Surface Warfare) and Anti-Submarine Air Controller. During his service, he received three letters of commendation and five medals for his work in Operation Desert Storm, counter-narcotics operations, and other missions. Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Chris remains a loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Guardians, Cleveland Cavaliers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Dayton Flyers, and Bowling Green Falcons.

Chris has tried—and won—every case he has taken to a jury verdict. He represents clients in complex trial and litigation matters across a wide range of industries, including real estate, franchise, hospitality, construction, entertainment, sports, energy, and finance. His experience spans the full spectrum of high-stakes disputes, including profits litigation, partnership disputes, franchise litigation, employment matters on behalf of both executives and companies, trade secret claims, trademark disputes, corporate governance issues, white collar matters, and securities cases.

After successfully handling “bet the company” disputes, Chris has been asked to serve as General Counsel for clients in the construction and hospitality industries, managing transactional counsel, negotiating business terms, and establishing company policy and procedures.
